And from 2 to 4 p.m., the mall will welcome older students to take part in a school spirit contest, enjoy local performances, and win prizes.

The book features realistic and fantastic depictions of different species of Kansas trees by such well-known Kansas artists as Lisa Grossman, Stan Herd and Paul Hotvedt.
